I bought that Strat in '72. It originally had a bullet truss rod end, which was removed when the guitar was modified for the Floyd Rose Trem. Here it is today.

I wish I'd collected in the early '70's. But I really don't have room for a music store's worth of guitars.

The white Strat used on the Black And Blue Tour (I have the VHS) is my favorite of all Buck's guitars, it just looks and sounds incredible, plus he played my favorite guitar solo of all time, Psychic Wars ETl (Followed closely by Terry Kath 25 or 6 to 4) on it. That guitar is priceless.
It says I'm a new member and I've been on this board for years, I guess I need to post more often...noted to myself

2 absolute killer guitar performances. Funny to see someone dialed into 2 of my favs too. The live Terry Katz (insane) live 25 to 6 to 4 performance ranks right with that Buck performance…agreed. Sad sad loss. Such great energy….for those who havent seen it before.

Look at the 6 to 4/Cities On Flame similarities. I wonder, and might have been revealed, if Kath had lived, if he was ever influenced by Danny Kalb of the Blues Project, like I was. Me and Terry both laid on those pentatonic scales, and I of course, still do.

Debatable of course, but one hell of a mouthful to have Jimi say that about anybody. Glad you enjoyed it Buck. Great energy and playing performance for sure. It makes me happy to watch it !

I was working out at the gym a couple of years ago and found it on Youtube, I burned a lot of calories for the next few weeks jamming out to this. The Santana 1970 Tanglewood show is another killer performance when that band was in their prime.
