Got an email from Albert, and he reminded me that I sang two songs on the "Alien" project. "Hothouse Flowers" and "To Hollow Lands." It was Hollow Lands I played the guitar on and Buck's rather good lead IS on the disks. I'd only listened to Hothouse Flowers and expected to hear my guitar and didn't. I'd forgotten just what I'd done on the project, given the time and lack of involvement after recording my parts. So.. I apologize for feeling dissed on the way the record was completed, and you CAN hear my guitar playing on "To Hollow Lands," as well as Richie's contributions on the disk set. OK, I'm missing something here, as I have the disc and am looking at the credits and don't see "To Hollow Lands" listed. ?? Rob I read Albert's comment on YouTube on the previews video, saying that To Hollow Lands will be the next album. If Buck says that he sings and plays on a song called To Hollow Lands, then that means that he'll be on the title track for the next Spirits Burning/Michael Moorcock album.
Edit: I just went on Spirits Burning's official FB asking about a second album for further confirmation, and they did confirm that a second record called "The Hollow Lands" will be released (hopefully) next year. They also confirmed that the album will also have a track that is similarly titled called "To Hollow Lands" with Buck on lead vocals and guitar.

OK, that's the answer to the mystery. Too bad you have to wait for it.

According to Albert on his most recent radio show, the whole thing is actually designed to be a 3 volume set, "just like Imaginos was" (only, of course, that wasn't)...
<off_topic_tangent> Just imagine if we'd have had the triple Imaginos LP as done by the original BOC back in say, 1974-75, a prospect that was oft mentioned by Sandy Pearlman in interviews etc as something that was going to be coming soon... wow! </off_topic_tangent>
