The Amazing Blue Oyster Cult is playing The Redneck Country Club in Stafford, TX (Houston) on October 18th, 2019. There is a TBA show on the 19th. Sound line a perfect opportunity to have a different version of HCFS2 . The Renceck Countryl Club food is SPECTACULAR and they just added Rebublic BBQ to the venue. They have the space for something different, like during the day. Whaddya say?
(Psst, the venue is 1st class. Sound, Air conditioning, Bar, Food, the whole Texas Enchilada).

Sounds like a good idea! There should definitely be another one! How would one have get in for the 2nd show? Is it invitation only or just a limited ticket sale?

BTW, I found this about a couple months ago from the first hardcore show in 2008.

Ready for these two shows for sure... Maybe more Chuck?..I checked out The Redneck Club yesterday. Waiting for the venue to show BÖC on their lineup.. Then for some Texas BÖC fun!

I am up for it if it is going to be a HCFS2 Yep, if it's a real HCFS and not a regular show with more fans. (not wanting to sound too much elitist...) of course, to organize and play a new HCFS it would be the best way to present a new album !

A second hardcore fan show would be amazing. Espescially if it just happened to be on one of the two Texas dates I was planning on attending anyway.

Something worth noting: I didn't notice until about recently that there's another TBA show for November 30th in Pennsylvania, which has been posted before the Oct. 19th one in Texas. So now there's two possible dates for one hardcore fans show; that is, unless, there's a special exception in a case where there's two fan shows.
I would definitely go to a hardcore fans show if possible if there was another. If I had to choose between the two dates however, I'd be more leaning towards the Pennsylvania date, just because that would mean I get to travel to a northeastern state and personally because it gives me a little more break time between that one and the St. Charles show.

Well, the point of the HCFS was that it was not TBA... it was under the radar.

Just wondering - why do fans' shows have to be "under the radar"...? Other bands I could cite hold such events and they make a big deal out of them, with convention-type affairs during the day and special show in the evening... and they advertise the hell out of it, making sure everybody who wants to attend has the chance to hear about it and do so... Keeping things quiet, no advance publicity, and generally not telling anybody seems a very BOC-type thing to me, a bit like the removal of all BOC vids from youtube etc... talk about flying under the social media radar!! I'm always surprised these days when I see a BOC gig poster/flyer/advert and they actually tell you the venue and date for an upcoming gig! Here's my idea for all future BOC flyers - and no, you can't include a Kronos!!

Ralph,
I have an answer to a question you asked on Hot Rails To Hull. It was a Germany show 21May1982. You asked if that show was cancelled. It wasn't. My boss was at it while stationed there in The US Air Force. He saw my BOC Polo today at work and asked if I had ever seen Blue Oyster Cult, lol. He's even seen SWU a few times, being from Bakersfield.

Chuck,
We should check your boss’s memory. That was a tour with Hatchet that I had tickets to, and the entire tour was cancelled. Big announcements, etc. I don’t think any of the gigs actually happened. The announcement came out three days before the first show. I was devastated, of course. Didn’t see the band until 1986.
