Any string instrument players deal with wrist and/or forearm pain after practicing? WhT do you do for it?

I play both piano and guitar, the best thing I ever did for this was to see my Doctor and - eventually - a specialist, the longer you wait, the more difficult you make it for yourself in the long run.

From my own experience, check to see if you're playing with your wrists in alignment, or are they bent at an angle. (On the arm that hurts.) When I got forearm pain in my fret hand, I had to re-learn to play keeping my wrist straight. I also had to shorten the guitar strap a bit and wear the guitar higher to help make that happen. No more low slung like Jimmy Page.
When I practiced with my wrist straight, I had to rely on my fingers more to stretch and fret the notes where I had used my wrist to get the fingers closer to where I wanted them. Once I did that, and could play with my wrist straight, the pain went away. This was over 30 years ago now.

I may be dorking myself by playing bass and uke, then. I was hoping that the varied wrist positions would help. Using ice and practicing form
