Great show all around. Sold out the 1600 seat venue! I bought one of the last 10 tickets.
This is a tough sound venue. Many sound guys do not compensate for this over-damped room... and when I say "over-damped", I'm talking carpet, curtains, fluffy fabric seats, and non-reflective walls throughout. A lot of bands sound hollow with no brightness.
However, the BOC sound was excellent. There were many moments in many songs where it was possible to hear the percussive plucking of the bass guitar and the sound of the large floor tom skins being struck was prevalent also. Hat's off to the sound guy!
Rough start with some monitor issues but they hit it with the Godzilla black blade stick and all was well!
Great show all around with NO alcohol on premise. Dry venue! How many shows do they play that everyone is only high on life!?!
Setlist on the setlist site. I think I have most of it correct? Buck? Any changes?
