Hard to believe...30 years already. I was fortunate enough to see Buck, Jon, and Ron as The Red & The Black three times back in 1990. It was exactly 30 years ago tonight that they played at a place in North Newark, NJ, called Studio One. Actually...the live photos in the booklet of TR & TB CD that was part of Buck's Archive series came from that show (and NOT as part of the show listed in the credits as I didn't make that show).
I really enjoyed TR & TB project, and wished it had gotten more exposure.
But still...30 years!

I really like TR&TB disk; some terrific music there. Did any of the live shows ever get a proper recording?

I’ve got boots of 2 NJ shows and I *think* I still have the CT music store performance on VHS. Will need to track that down.
I liked the band’s rendition of the Temptations’ I Can’t Get Next To You so much that my band actually covered it later that year!

Both audience. I think the March 31 show is of better quality, if I recall correctly.
