I wish he had more of the Jones Beach Show I was there in the rain. I was getting strong shocks through the soles of my capezio shoes and my guitar that night. I had to go backstage and put plastic bags on my feet to insulate myself. Hazardous work! No fun.

Geez Buck that's a scary situation.I kept wondering what it was like for you guys up there.Something about Long Island-I was at Nassau Coliseum during the huge snowstorm in early '78 or was it late '77.

Was at both of those memorable shows as well. Scary stuff, can't imagine how that must have felt. I remember how much we were looking forward to making a day of it at the beach...only to wind up getting drunk sitting in the parking lot in the pouring rain.
The Coliseum show, Eric warned the audience after the last song. We go out to find everything covered in ice. Wound up staying at a local hotel, no way we would have made it back to CT.

Well... I don't think anything will EVER makeup for what he did with dimeadozen - that was my own personal line in the sand... and, as for these recent 480p (for the most part) youtube offerings, a number of people have expressed that they are happy to see them... for me, it's like this: let's say you've been mugged in the street, and as you're lying there on the floor wondering where your teeth are, your attacker leans over you and drops a few coins on the floor and says: "see it's not all bad, here's your bus fare home"...
But that's just me... as Sam used to say, your mileage may vary...

These shows are great, but there’s no substitute for being there. It’s good to be here in Central Illinois, with Indi, Chicago, and St. Louis in range. Thanks for being there, Buck! If you’re there, I’m there, 148 times, so far, Miss you, brother.

I've always thought worrying about provenance and ownership of internet BOC content was stupid, but I routinely got outvoted on that. The rational was the launch of BOC youtube channel, which finally happened recently, several years late. I actually don't pay attention to much stuff online about me or BOC so I've never been in the thick of any of the controversy, except to hear about it after the fact in places like this. I don't know what gems got lost in the process. I don't know what your injury was. I thank you for continuing to hang here, under the circumstance. Much of what happens here revolves around your participation. And your site is the resource that the world will always go to for the best info on the Blue Oyster Cult.

well. let's see a detail. The 1999 Clarkston show was uploaded some weeks ago on Youtube and shot down about 2 days later. We thought it was gonna appear on the official BÖC YT page. but it was actually originally uploaded in 480p. and now, it's only 360p. I hope the new BÖC record won't be released in MP3 128k.
The 2019 london show is uploaded in 480p.
The thing is WTF ? it was filmed in 2019, not 1975. if the London show was filmed in 480p, actually, somebody needs a spanking. If it was filmed at a correct resolution (every phones are filming in 720p), then it must be uploaded in 720p.
But the part that alarm me most is "but I routinely got outvoted on that". o.O
