the first recording of peter green after many years without playing guitar in the mid 90's walk don' run - the ventures ( a rare compilation product by cozy powell with many guest guitarist i think) i post this vidéo because i read or saw an interview of buck who said walk don'run was one of the first piece of music he heard.

There is NO mistaking that tone. Peter Green had such a specific and identifiable tone the same way as Malcolm Young or Buck Dharma. Sometimes all it takes is one note.

Another one’s tone that I LOVE (and should be added to the “Who are your other favorite bands”?” thread): Eric Johnson. Cannot get enough of the sound of his guitar. And his voice is vastly underrated as well.

thanks zenman., yes otis spann the biggest thing since collossus , and we can hear otis spann with 2 great track on fleetwood mac blues jam at chess Peter green in all his finesse with eddie boyd, for me may be one of his best performance ever peter green on fire on this live version of stop messin round !! the guitar solo is awesome !! a genius not appreciated at its fair value...like buck
