I dont know if I'm in the minority, but I love a good portion of Hagar's era of VH. Not all of it but a decent amount. I also REALLY don't like 1984 outside of I'll Wait, Jump, and Panama. Really? Not even House of Pain (which predates their first album and was one of the original Gene Simmons demos) or Hot For Teacher, Drop Dead Legs, Girl Gone Bad? I can't imagine going too long without playing those. Funnily enough, both Jump and I'll Wait are the tracks I would skip.

This afternoon, I've been on a classic British blues rock binge starting with Fleetwood Mac's Mr Wonderful and now playing the second of my two Ten Years After albums, Undead. I wish it were recorded louder. Next up, I have Slade Alive which is not Blues Rock but does have a Ten Years After and a Janis Joplin song on it.

Love that one as well.

Looks like Symbol has been selling boatloads. 428 reviews, still #66 in Rock and #149 in CDs & Music a MONTH later. The supplier ran out. Is that a sign that it has outsold expectations? When it gets back in stock I'm gonna buy a copy for my stepson.

Looks like Symbol has been selling boatloads. hmm, both presses of the picture vinyl are pretty much sold out. were they 6,000 + 9,000 if my memory serves me well? plus nearly all the black vinyl (I don't know how many copies were pressed for the EU and US markets). so it seems the LP is doing great.

Maybe they're not out per se but it seems like Amazon outselling their stock would at least show it is outselling expectations. At least that's what I hope it shows. I showed Florida Man, Secret Road, and The Alchemist to a friend and she bought the album that day. I hope the Sirius Halloween show added some purchases as well.

I'm grateful to all spreading the word. Since there's no radio play for legacy artists, word of mouth is pretty much it.

Not that Sirius/XM is that great at promoting new stuff, BUT they are certainly better than the rest. Glad they had you & Eric on to guest DJ and play some of your new cuts. Satellite radio remains the only time I've ever heard Dancin' in the Ruins and Black Blade on a broadcast. At the very least that gets people I hope to buy more than just the greatest hits.

"If my memory serves me well." Damnit, now I have Bob Dylan stuck in my head!
