Well, I think 5:35 is a happy song. A very good happy song. That’s the only BÖC/BD song I could come up with in this category. Well, maybe Let Go. Is it wrong to think of B4U as a happy song? It depends on your interpretation. I think it could be about life on the road and pining for the one you love. Time to play B sides, etc. However, I always had a more sinister interpretation, you've sold your sold for the one you love and are really burnin' for you for eternity (seeing suns that were freezing) - thus time has no meaning - everlasting, ain't on my side, I'll never know - no reason to fight, give the devil his due...yep. As my lovely wife once said, "They're too clever for the masses."

I don't know if this is a happy song but it's the most optimistic song that doesn't have eternity in it.Written by John D Loudermilk Americas best most underrated songwriter it certainly asks for love almost eternal. It's not the 1967 hit version but it's maybe the best:

I’m adding My Sharona from The Knack. It’s happy, fun and pure frosting no cake. I love it, especially the extended guitar solos.

And the classic my buddy Gary Bonner wrote: My wedding song You are lucky. My wife picked out a song(35 years ago, so neither of us remember what it was), and the wedding band blew it off. We both almost vomited during "Color My World", I would have stiffed the band if it was my responsibility to pay them. We danced and smiled, because the show must go on.

I'm not a big happy song guy, but "Our House" by Madness, and Todd Rundgren's "Bang On The Drum" are light entertainment. Hah... Buck, How bout Bobby Sherman? Seattle!!!! 😂😂👍. This is worth a laugh!!
