I’m listening to Martin Popov’s Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers about Motörhead, and towards the beginning of the book they talk a bit about opening for BOC in England and ‘blowing BOC off of the stage’. Any memories of that?

I've heard some stuff about that over the years. Lemmy was of the opinion that this was the case - but by all the reviews I've read, Motorhead were a disaster and BOC -according to most scribes - not much better. I wasn't there so don't know what to believe.

I read Lemmys autobiography and he mentioned the BOC 75 shows and gave off the vibe that he was still incubating some resentment. I mentioned it here and Buck seemed more than a little surprised. IMO Lemmy was all about self promotion and not a lot else. Well, apart from Ace of Spades and the Aquaduct.

I don't have much recollection about that. I think Motohead was or became a bigger act than BOC there, so there's that I guess. I like Motorhead, but in very small doses.

I remember Buck mentioned meeting up with Lemmy again, some time in this century, and there was nothing but positives. I just like to suss our different angles of stories.
