I really like the way the background vocals sound on The Machine. Nice keys as it ends, too.

I've got to stop myself from just listening to Edge of the World on repeat. No, you don't need to stop haha. I'm on listen #4 of the album right now.

Took my time getting to work this morning so I could listen to the whole record for the first time. Really enjoyed The Machine and Edge of the World. Those two really stand out in my mind and couldn't be more topical and relavent in the 21st century. Was pleasantly surprised at how many layers and new ideas had been added to the BD tunes we heard as demos! Digging everything I have heard so far.

The Theremin sound made me think of X-Ray Eyes.

The theremin on "Fight" was played by my buddy Jeff Nolan. Jeff does media for the Hard Rock empire and is a rocking guitar player also. We were talking on the phone and he mentioned he had a theremin if we needed some on the record. I thought of "Fight" immediately and sent him a track to work on. He laid down a bunch of takes, send them back to me and it made the finished song special.

Theremin is the sound of '50's "outer space." Also featured in Beach Boys' "Good Vibrations." And BOC's "Fight."

Wasn't the theremin used throughout the Joseph Cotton film The Third Man? I remember the critics loved the theremin but I hated it in that film.It annoyed the shit outta me.LOL. BTW the foursome of Edge Of The World,The Machine,Train True and Return Of St Cecelia flow great together as in a one side Secret Treaties sort of way.

My standard LP copy arrived just now. Thank goodness for my neighbors because the guy just left it there without knocking or ringing the doorbell. My neighbor saw him do it so he knocked on the door himself to let me know I got a package.

The main instrument from that score was a Zither. That said, I don't know if there was also a Theremin or not.

I guess I trump Buck here since he's only the CEO and I'm God the boss of all CEO's.
