Sigh...remember the old days when getting dosed meant something completely different? "Don't give a dose, to the one you love most..." Dr. Hook and The Medicine Show.

Your memory issues clear up, Lauren? Don't hesitate to converse with someone at their Vaccine hot line. I'm assuming the US of A has something like that too. I was fine when I woke up the next day, but that was admittedly after 17 hours of sleep.

I got my first shot of the Pfizer vaccine last month. Had a sore arm for a couple days, but that was it. Yesterday morning, I got my second shot, and while I thought I was only getting a sore arm again throughout day, the "other" effects kicked in last night, leaving me with chills, tiredness, muscle pains, and a headache; the very last one in particular roamed until this morning after breakfast. Doing better now, though I'm keeping these effects in mind while I try to finish up my projects for the semester. I'm very thankful that I finally got my second shot though.

I thought I'd chime in here, I got the two dose Pfizer vax in Feb/Mar, and now feel fine and rather blasé about COVID since. I did have some reaction to the shots, a couple days of fatigue, arm soreness, but looking back, it was no worse than other inoculations I've had over the many decades of my life.
I feel the most important thing is getting past the social and economic damage of the darn Wuhan virus and not dwell on the minor discomfort of the process. I can't comment on vaccines other than the Pfizer, of course.

I had my first Moderna shot last week and had arm pain the next day and then it went away after a few days. Then this week the arm pain came back along with a rash at the injection site. I've found that an ice pack really helps it feel better. From what I've read on the internet, it's called "Covid Arm" and it's pretty common.

I get my second at the end of the month. I have had one AZ jab back in March, no arm pain but felt completely off side for the next twenty four hours, still rather that than Covid. Roll on the next jab!

It makes me happy to see most people here have gotten vaccinated. I got a bad bout of Covid back in January and almost died. It was the most terrifying week of my life-and I've been through some harrowing medical emergencies due to my lymphedema. I sincerely hope everyone gets vaccinated and manages to get through this while staying healthy and safe.
