Some interesting tidbits. He exaggerates some of his contributions it seems, yet some interesting insights into individual band members, his work with Pearlman. OH...and he was the guy that refused rights to This Aint the Summer of Love to be included in Agents anniversary release. He wanted credit for lyrics for ETI back in 1976, which he helped arrange (but not write). He had a grudge about that which lead to this: "And many years later, there was a TV show where BÖC played all of the songs on Agents of Fortune. (laughs) And I refused to give the show’s producer permission to do “This Ain’t the Summer of Love” (note: which Krugman co-wrote with Albert Bouchard and Don Waller). So, it had all of the songs from Agents—except “Summer”.

now the truth is revealed. I thought it was Don Weller's publishing company and there you go it's MK still holding a looooong time grudge. this does not surprise me. I read another interview where he said some really nasty things about Allen

I can think of many other less polite things to call him, but I leave it to your imagination.

That's a real shame about Summer of Love. I dare say he did play an important role in the sound of the records but the whole interview is pretty self-aggrandizing

The way I read his account of that episode - or "incident", as he called it - was that he helped Sandy re-arrange a few lines of his lyric to better fit the song. He doesn't say that he actually contributed any lyrics of his own.
This sounds precisely like the same sort of thing Joe and Albert used to do with Sandy's lyrics right from the early days, and they did that to make the song in question better, but didn't demand a lyric co-writing credit that I ever heard of... take Astronomy, Joe basically took a pair of scissors to Sandy's words and the resultant copying and pasting and re-jigging probably made Pearlman wince, but it seems to me he wrote lyric poems rather than "lyrics" so if you wanted to use them in your song, you had to put a bit of a shift in to get them into a suitable format... maybe he felt some of the meaning and intent got lost when this happened, but, if so, I suppose he quickly had to get used to that idea...
I just think Murray's take on this is skewed and unrealistic, but for this ill will to have lasted some 40 years and resulted in the Summer of Love thing is rather pathetic, to be honest... at the end of that section, he asks:
"Are you listening to yourself?" (laughs)
Personally, I'd flip that question around...

So he didn't like Allen or Eric.Eff him.So weird he loved Buck,Albert and Joe.And his reasoning that, well Eric didn't have a hit was ridiculous.Plus he called The McCoys a one hit wonder when they had around 4 chart hits. The guy was screwy.
