Its starting to become a piss take now I got all seven color variants from Frontiers (plus black), and I'm pretty sure one of them was already crystal. Ideally I'd buy every last one, buuuuuuut I have a broken dishwasher to replace so I'll just have to pass on this one for now. Maybe I'll find it in the wild someday.

I have all seven including the black vinyl as well. I think I will be passing on this one, as I feel its now turning into a money racket. There is nothing new on the album so I've spent enough. Anyone for multi coloured vinyl next

Im waiting for the tie dye version. ;-)
Got black and crystal...happy. Still need to sit and listen the the CD and Vinyl back to back on my home system here to see what the sound does.
The CD is easy and sounds great for day to day....it hasnt come out of my truck CD player since I put it in months back. To me...the vinyl experience itself is a definite add and fun though.
Does it sound much different, still unsure. Im guessing there may be slightly different openness to the LP sound compared to the CD but it takes great hearing and sound system to detect. Pure guess. Honestly this record sounds so good and so well produced in every form maybe not. The production is an absolute home run.

I have never heard the vinyl version of "Symbol." It sounds delightful on headphones. Haven't tried it on speakers yet.... moooooostly because mine are not working and are expensive to replace lol. I've got to say I'm loving the high quality of newer vinyl records these days. I've gotten a lot of reissues on 180g vinyl that I think sound better than the original. I picked up some albums by The Cure on 180g which are just INSANELY good sounding.

Honestly not really, but I am also OBSESSIVE about care for my player, regularly replace the needles, keep my records clean and handle gently. I mean, it's still got that tiny bit of hiss but thats part of the charm of analog to me anyway

With my tinnitus, you could play it with gold plated diapers on and I couldn’t tell the difference.
