LOL Never read them either.I'm currently making my way thru The Hunt For Reacher books.They're as good or better than the actual Reacher books.

Yikes - I didn't like them at all - got through about 4 and then gave up - the premise was just too weird... sadly, the latest actual Reacher book, Sentinel, co-written by his brother or whoever, was maybe only 5 out of 10... just finished the latest Pike Logan and Jonathan Graves books - both were OK, up to the usual standard, just waiting for the next "Ryan Decker" (by Steven Konkoly) to drop... recently, my new favourite is "The Grey Man" series by Mark Greaney but I'd also have to give an honourable mention to the "Dewey Andreas" Series by Ben Coes, the "Ryan Drake" series by Will Jordan, the "John Reznick" series by JB Turner, both the "Agent Zero" and "Luke Stones" series by Jack Mars, Jeff Abbott's "Sam Capra" books, the "Pierce Hunt" Series by Simon Gervais and Matthew Reilly's "Scarecrow" books... yep, it's been a busy lockdown for me...  |

The Hunt For books got better after the first few.The only writer I'm familiar with is Greaney.I have a few of his books and he's been doing some of the latest Tom Clancy Jack Ryans.Actually I'm hoping for a third season of Jack Ryan with Krasinki playing him and another season of Hanna.

I think that's where most people will have come across his name - but there are 4 or 5 other authors continuing the Jack Ryan/Jr franchise and he's just one of them... but the "Gray Man" books are just him on his own and I can't recommend them highly enough... if you're a fan of Mitch Rapp, Pike Logan, Dewey Andreas, Scott Harvath, Ryan Drake etc etc , then you'll love The Gray Man... if you, or anyone else, is interested in checking him out, I can upload some of the audio books so you can see - or rather, hear - what you've been missing... |
