I guess in fairness it's only been explicitly said why amongst the fan boards and stuff, but I feel like there's a common sense aspect to it. *shrug* I think TSR should be played live in its entirety. I saw Iron Maiden do that with A Matter of Life and Death, and Rush do it with Moving Pictures. Both were AMAZING. It would certainly be amazing, but THEN you'd have clowns making YouTube videos that they played too much new stuff and were ignoring the fans who wanted to hear their best known songs or whatever

This fellow has found the secret to internet clicks. All caps, too! He's put his finger on what's wrong with Blue Oyster Cult. Anyone dying to hear what Sean had to say in the last two minutes of his rant? I did not make it that far into the video LOL People can have their opinions for sure, but I wish some thought would go into wondering how a band can perform songs they finished remotely while only performing a show every few months under strict lockdown protocols. It's not like AC/DC are touring their new album either. Better keep watch. This Sean Dude and Larry might take another crack at this and debut another maybe AC/DC Video’

Anyone dying to hear what Sean had to say in the last two minutes of his rant? Not so much a "rant"... more a ramble... It wasn't that much of a rant...

It's just a mix-up. He said that Blue Oyster COLT didn't perform any TSR songs. A completely different band.

I originally liked but didn't love Stand and Fight and There's a Crime, but they grew on me pretty quickly. ESPECIALLY There's A Crime, which almost feels like it could've been an outtake from '73-'74, as far as the writing goes.

Also totally agree about Crime sounding like a seventies outtake & I think we both mean this as a compliment.

I think it was filmed in 2015. It's very good, and there are interview clips before each song where they talk about how each song was written. Usually the PBS station shows it during pledge week.

If any album of theirs is worth hearing all the way through, that's probably the most worth it IMO. Their Mick Taylor period is their best, and their more experimental era was sometimes hit or miss, to me anyway.
