Had another interview today. Trying to get out of my current shitshow of a job. This one was more promising. The last one I knew I wasn't getting the job within minutes of the interview starting. But this one feels promising.

Feelings are always reliable They are somewhat symptomatic of societal abrasions that conform electric static.

Finally got a job as an actual practicing attorney. The commute is 2 hrs each way so we will probably move there when we can sell our house so we can afford it. It took a while. I didn't talk about it much on here but the job I was working before was a NIGHTMARE. I started applying for new places back in April. I had sent out over 40 resumes, gotten 6 initial interviews, and of those half resulted in a second interview. I might share some horror stories from my last job some day but for now I'll simply say it was mentally exhausting. I worked .7 miles from home at my previous job, and now I work 116 miles from home, and it was STILL worth the change. I'd rather have to drive 232 miles per day on the road for 4.5 hours than go back to my last job, a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk. That's how bad it was.
When I put in my letter of resignation, the HR manager refused to talk to me for like a whole day and then the next day said they'd pay me through the end of the next two weeks if I just left and didn't come back. I basically was given a paid vacation for a week and a half, because my boss was THAT petty.

It might be quicker than driving and it would allow you to get some things done while you're commuting.

I'm working in Parsippany I know there's a bus but it adds too much time to the commute. :/
