ICE ROAD used DFTR in the trailer, but not the movie itself.

ICE ROAD used DFTR in the trailer, but not the movie itself. Hmm..that's interesting. I liked the movie. Thought the imagery was out of sight. Have to go back and check out the trailer now.

Like a good horror movie too, the trouble is they seem few & far between. There are plenty of horror movies but it appears there are few good ones.
St Maud is on my list but I haven't seen it yet, so your comment is interesting.
Never really got the Conjuring & dipped out after the first.
A Quiet Place was fantastic & I hope that II doesn't spoil it. I watched a film called Birdcage last week, I knew nothing about it I just stumbled over it on Netflix & was intrigued by the trailer & cast (John Malkovich & Sandra Bullock etc) don't know if it has been a success but I found it although well made a bit dull & derivative. It was essentially A Quiet Place meets The Road.
The Invisible Man was a decent thriller & I liked the switch in the narrative but not sure if I would call it Horror.
I had written Fear Street off as a Stranger Things rip off but maybe that's not the case so also added to the list! That was Bird Box not Bird Cage(The Birdcage was great BTW) LOL.I thought it was pretty good actually.I believe it was made before A Quiet Place as it's from a short story.. Oops! I meant Bird Box. I didn't realise it pre dated A Quiet Place, in which case it's probably better than I thought & worth a watch.

Yes, I would definitely suggest watching them in order. Part two starts up right where apart one ends. Okay thanks for that, Part One it is then.

Watched FS Part One over at the weekend. While I could see it was a well put together genre movie it failed the horror film acid test for me; it wasn't scary. Or maybe it's just not my kind of thing.

Almost turned the first one off but stuck it out, but eventually quit half way through the second one.

I feel for you younger guys you didn't grow up with such classics of B moviedom like From Hell It Came(walking tree monster)and Killers From Space(aliens with tennis balls for eyes). The 50's was the golden age of horror sci-fi ranging from classics to goofy monsters but monsters were the rage.Hammer redoing the Universal catalogue and actually improving on some of it(the Dracula/vampire stuff for sure) but not IMO the Frankenstein flicks.
