Glad you guys made out well on the Vid. Here in Maine, cases are down 40% in the last 7 days and are down 80% from to peak. Good riddens.

We opened for them on the 10th in Hollywood FL Did you stay at the Guitar Hotel? If so, how was it? They have been advertising very heavily on the TV stations over here on the west coast of Florida. It looks very impressive from the outside. Mary, we didn't stay at the guitar hotel. The Hard Rock wanted to charge the band $500/room to stay there so we were at a Fairfield Inn instead. I probably would have paid it if it was my call.

I met Don "American Pie" Maclean on the boat. I joked that he and I were "The Dons" of rock. We hit it off and had a couple of nice exchanges over the four days.

He puts on a good show. Someone else has to sing the high notes since his throat surgery.

And Dokken, for that matter. <button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> George Lynch was on the cruise. Dokken was prolly lurking around there somewhere :-) Heard some good Dokken stories from Athena Shaffer of Amusement Business when we she did an article about The Buck Dharma Band. She was friends with Don.

A highlight of the cruise was seeing and befriending blues artist Vanessa Collier. She's a great singer and great sax player, has a great band and is a very entertaining performer. We asked her to play sax on Shooting Shark the last night of the cruise, and she did to everyone's delight.

A couple bands did not make it at the last minute...The Outlaws and Orianthi. 21 shows in 3 1/2 days. BOC three times and up front at all of them with some UK fans. Paul and Sue and Tom O'Hanlon. Sat across from Don McLean in the pizza parlor. Saw and said hi to many performers. Jefferson Starship, Anthony Gomes (one of the unknown surprises, awesome guitarist), Vanessa Collier who plays a mean sax and her band were fabulous, plus she is beautiful, Eric Gales (his album is #1 on the blues chart at this moment), and many others. Had our picture taken with Dave Freiberg who is has been with Jefferson Airplane/Starship since 1972 and he is also 83 years old and original member of Foghat, Roger Earl. 5th Rock Legends Cruise in a row for us and we are already signed up for number 6. Awesome photo by the way of Buck and Vanessa. Wonder who took that one:)? Edit by Buck: That photo was taken by Dan Hembrecht
