Is coming to play a concert in Spokane! I’m sure to be astonished at the prices of the tickets.

You can get good seats for less than a used 280Z.

I like Macca, but I'd take the 280Z.

Id go. Saw him many years back and he was great. Of course the music is magic even if it was a cover band.
The Wings music is very under appreciated IMO….but when you are a Beatle thats how it goes Id guess. ;-)

I saw Wings Over America twice and both were very good shows.I especially enjoyed Denny Laine singing Go Now.

What makes this shocking is that so many big artists give Spokane a miss when touring. The Rolling Stones have played Portland, Seattle /Tacoma, skipped Spokane, and went to Boise (which is smaller). It’d be interesting to know if we just have crap promoters or if the arena is too small or what.

There was a rumor that went-around for years that, when RUSH played the old "Boone Street Barn" arena for the (I think) Moving Pictures tour (June 1981), they said they would never play there again because of the horrible acoustics. They never played Spokane again, so maybe there was some truth to it.

We played that room a couple times. I don't know if was any worse or better than the the hockey rinks and other odd arenas we played in the '70's. I know PA systems were not what they are today back then. The first really good sound in a big room I ever heard was McCartney and Wings in the Kingdome in Seattle. I also saw Led Zeppelin in that round room up by the Space Needle that we also played, and the room sounded pretty bad.

I’d really have to be in love to pay this prices.
