Ha-Frank was too shy to call Buck. We'd call athletes but never musicians. In '70 I called WMCA DJ Jack Spector at his home in Brooklyn after the Giants lost to the Rams.He said "Terrible loss I've got to take the family out for dinner gotta run now. Thanks for calling". BTW that karaoke story is hliarious.Reminds of the story Denny Laine tells about George Harrison. On their first American tour they were cooped up in their hotel and Harrison says he's going out for some air.Hours later he comes back and tells everyone"It was great,I took a walk, bought a newspaper and went to a club and no one bothered me" where in Lennon turns and goes "That's cause nobody likes you George". BTW did Buck sing karaoke Burnin' as Buck or Donald? Buck Dharma would've been another chance to see if anyone caught on.LOL.
