I dunno, Buck hits a REALLY low note in Magna of Illusion, and Eric hits gets some super high notes on Goin' Thru the Motions (and Be My Baby). Higher if you count the yeah yeah yeah falsetto in R U Ready 2 Rock.

Eric has (or had) the best range of all the BOC singers. Everyone else could carry a tune most of the time, but high notes were a challenge for them. Buck always reminded me more of a Jackson Browne or Paul Simon. Good smooth and within the range acceptable for good pop songs.

During the BOC heyday, it was a G. I started singing lessons in the 90's. I wish I'd done it at the beginning of the Columbia years. As a songwriter and singer, I modeled myself on Paul Simon in terms of what kind of vocal and song I could put over. Don Henley too. Maybe Gordon Lightfoot. None of them Heavy Metalists, right? Part of why BOC is all over the place, style wise.

therangeplanet.proboards.com/ The precursor site to this place had write-ups on Eric and Buck. The guy who had done them at the precursor claimed them at the new one but apparently never got around to it. It's still a cool look at different vocalists and the various notes they hit. When I first got Spectres (I pretty much bought the entire back catalogue in 1982 after getting ETL even though I still didn't know much about the band), I thought Joe sang "Golden Age of Leather". (Hope I still have an account here this evening....)
