Great show tonight in Plymouth MA. Fun seeing you Eastmark, Sadie, Camp, Carl Flores, Alvin Lipsett, Ken Vantassel (sp) and a whole lot more. What a night and great setlist too!! Buck got the Cheeseberger back from the Dr!! All repaired and sounded awesome!! Was good to see it back in the line as well as he played the white Kiesel too.. I was listening carefully when he was telling another what that Kiesel style is but missed part of it so Buck, maybe you could elaborate to this post as well. Thx. Until we all see each other again tomorrow !!Good night

That was a NICE setlist! Nineteen songs. I would have loved to heard Perfect Water live. But a little far for me to go.
How long was the actual play time?
I was wondering if the burger was out for repair. Now I know for sure.

I see some videos from the Plymouth show are now on YouTube. Just search for "Blue Oyster Cult Plymouth Memorial Hall" and you should see 3 - so far. A few seconds of some people standing - maybe one of you are in it?
Just Trivia: I saw the cheeseburger back for DFTR. Cool. Not that it makes any difference, but looks like some different equipment used from what I've seen in other videos and the two I've seen in person. A Peavey amp and speaker, two Fender amps, a Crate cab, and some different drums. Didn't see anything Marshall. But hard to see all from cell camera videos.

The band doesn't bring along their own backline; they can request certain amplification/sound reinforcement brands but I imagine unforeseen circumstances might dictate potluck.

Yes, it was a fun time. 24 different songs between both shows. I haven't done a back to back since Keene >Fall River; 2018.

The gear on this weekend's shows was our own. Some red Crate 4x12' cabs, I use a Fender head for onstage monitoring, Danny has an Ampeg and a Fender bass head and a SVT cab, Eric uses a Peavey head, Richie uses the Line6 Helix with a Line6 powered cabinet, Jules uses his own drums, I forget the name of 'em. If we play within trucking distance of NYC, we'll use our gear. I've got the Cheeseburger back, and I'm playing my new Kiesel headless Strat style guitar.

Buck, Just curious, if you are willing to share, what was wrong with the Cheeseberger that you had to send it out?

The "Cheeseberger" had not been overhauled by a Steinberger tech since it was made in the early 90's. The frets on my second neck were worn, the trans-trem needed service (the bearings and the bridge rollers eventually bind) and the electronics had been patched together over the years. It was a rat's nest under the access plate on the back of the guitar. It was completely overhauled and restored to new condition. I did not do any cosmetic restoration, although I could have. It plays better than new now.

I have been listening and watching you play that guitar since the mid 1990’s as I best recall. I can’t wait to see it again in CLE on Sept 10. To me, I kind of see the Cheeseberger as a part of the personality of the band.. Just my 2 cents.
