Wouldn’t it be great if they did an annual 3 night residence at Sony Hall? The reviews of the venue have been great and the Sony Hall staff all had nice things to say about the 3 nights (except when they barked at us to leave). And I’m pretty sure the club did real well on food and drink! I’d buy tickets for 2023 today if they planned it.

I'm still on cloud 9...one more show to go...Nov 11. Tell me about it. Trying to capture in my mind all the special moments. There’s a show about an hour from me mid-October that I didn’t have on the radar because of a conflict, but that’s since been cleared and after last week, I just may need to go. I will admit that I am a bit fried after seeing a Broadway show and 4 concerts in the span of just 14 days…

I literally got home from NYC, threw my stuff in the house, and went to see the Jayhawks.....Gotta love live music! The Blue Ocean show will make 8 BOC shows this year....a personal record....beats five shows I saw a few years ago. Regarding the NYC shows...if I were to pick a favorite, it would be show two. And how about Kaz singing Tenderloin.

As for a fave of the 3 nights, it’s a likely toss-up between Tyranny and Treaties nights. My seats at all 3 shows were great and I got a ton of great photos. Night 2 was special since I hadn’t seen some of those tunes played live before (7SD probably the first time for me since ‘81). But Treaties is my fave album, and to hear Subhuman live was a moment. And Astronomy was beyond good - both during the set and after! Now how about next year, we see the next 3 studio albums - Agents, Spectres, and Mirrors. Yes, I know Agents was done before but so was the first album. A boy can dream, can’t he? ;-)

Tyranny & Mutation was definitely my fave night. The First album came in second. But Dominance and Submission was my favorite tune of the week

Any chance the full concert will be recorded and later offered as a DVD/Blu-ray or something?Quoting directly from: sonyhall.com/aboutsonyhall/ "Sony’s 4K remote camera system is located throughout the venue and operated by an on-site video specialist. Each of the three cameras are positioned strategically to capture the best footage from multiple angles and all content/data from a live show (performance or b-roll) can be, upon request, provided for a variety of promotional needs."
No clue what they would charge to do it, even if just raw footage, but this sounds like an opportunity just waiting to be taken advantage of!
Sounds like the recording opportunity WAS taken advantage of. From an Oct. 7, 2022 "Metal Express Radio" article: Interviewer: "Did you record the shows for possible future release?"Eric: "We did film and record the shows and we are currently negotiating with Frontiers for a future release."I saw a mention elsewhere that it was all shot in 4K on multiple cameras. Maybe a disc release like the 2002 "Long Days Night" concert???
