Looking forward to the show this afternoon at Summerfest in Milwaukee. 1530 start may be my earliest BOC show ever.
I'll be seeing the Martman at the Aurora show tomorrow, anyone else attending this weekend?

The show started a bit late due to some “logistical nightmares” with the sound system. It sounded great and was well received by a large crowd. I had a blast. The set:
Dr Music Before the Kiss Golden Age That Was Me Burnin Harvest Moon ETI Train True Last Days Godzilla Reaper Cities

Really memorable show, last night. Took me back through the decades, reminded me of why we do what we do, and have stuck with this magic for so long. Different, yet the same. Different sounds and songs, yet the same exhilaration as they come together to form that familiar synergy, like no one else, really. Foghat never had a chance, but they gave a good effort, with a new lead singer, ok on vocal, solid on guitar. Love the return to Bladerunner end titles, and Dr. Music, as opener. EB vocals have benefited from a less grinding Covid schedule, and the sound, usually needing an adjustment from the start, was really good, all along. Always great to see old friends, and I’m grateful for Rob’s generosity and hospitality. Can’t wait to return the favor, here, in my hometown, next month. And, perhaps, our final outrage, in September.

Glad you guys had fun.
There is something very sentimental about the music, the shows, the vibe and the friends. It is very deep and very special all wrapped up in incredible memories over decades of time.

Yep, great show last nite, and nice to hook up/catch up with Marty and Rob. Foghat was ok...good slide player, but they sounded a bit one dimensional compared to BOC (who doesn't really). 1 original member but the players were good. I thought Eric sounded great too Marty. Buck and Richie were amazing of course, the back and forth between the two sure is fun, and the band sounds better than ever. After a drought of BOC shows for me and the wife during the covid thing, it's nice to get back in the swing.

I'm glad I came on here at the last minute which led me to wondering when BOC's Alameda Co. fair show is -- this Thursday. Damn! It's been since 2017. 5 years. Being on a logarithmic scale, that's like 50.

Unfortunately, I was talking about Des Plaines, IL., not NYC.

Unfortunately, I was talking about Des Plaines, IL., not NYC. And now we get another two-fer, in Chicago, after the NYC shows!
