Lisa and I escaped it this time at least. Pure luck.
I escaped as well . Guess if we’re going to go to shows might always have this thought in the back of our minds as we could catch this crap. I caught it after the gig in Derry NH along with a few others and ya, Mark and Lisa, you both escaped it.. ‘Raise a glass of beer high’ for that and we shall raise a glass again each show. See ya in November in Bangor Mark and BÖC

You take a risk anytime you go out most anywhere. All it takes is ONE person that has it to blow a sneeze on you. Of course the more people and the closer they are to each other the higher your risk just due to statistics if nothing else. There may be THREE people waiting to blow a sneeze on you instead of just "that one". Course all three COULD be on the opposite side of the room.
With that said you have to go on with your life and enjoy doing the things you enjoy! Not doing so has it's own costs. You take a risk every time you get in a car, walk down the street, get on a plane, etc, etc. I was conditioned, so to say, at a younger age to understand risks and do what you can to mitigate them, but not necessarily avoid them altogether.
Now we do pretty much everything we used to do and we do most anything we want to do - BUT with a better understanding of this new crap called COVID and being mindful of what little things we can do to reduce risks along the way.
Would it stop us from going to a concert we really wanted to go to? NO WAY! But I wouldn't eat a candy bar some unknown random person left behind on a table.
