Sharon is a marketing queen.
It's known in the music circles that Ozzy doesn't write much of anything.. their musicians du jour do the majority of the writing.

I am a true laborer: I earn that I eat, get that I wear, owe no man hate, envy no man's happiness, glad of other men's good, content with my harm. - Shakespeare
Words to live by.
Plenty of information out there that Ozzy was responsible for the melody lines over Tony's legendary riffs using Geezer's lyrics.

Neal makes a good point. But Ozzie HAS THE X-Factor, doesn't he? Can't put my finger on what it is, but he's proven to have it.
When Ozzie departed Sabath, I wouldn't have bet on his subsequent success. But what did I know? Nothing, apparently.

Kind of the same thing with David Lee Roth I guess. Great singer? Not really. Great frontman? Hell yeah.
Dio may have been a better singer on paper than Ozzy, but Ozzy’s band captured lightning in a bottle with Randy Rhodes and his band and he melded the burgeoning thrash movement with the NWOBHM and just straight up pop music into something nobody had really heard before at the time, and that formula blew Black Sabbath out of the water. There’s something to be said for surrounding yourself with the right people. May he be the most skilled artist? Maybe not by some metrics. But he definitely had vision to know where his career should go.

I doubt I am doing this right, but here is David Bromberg's Sharon: Not aimed at Ozzie, or her. I like the song.

Perspective is everything.
My Shepherd is Ozzy.
We rock out multiple times per week to his namesake.
