I recently did a podcast search on Spotify for BD appearances and found a few. One was a Kiss themed show that had BD on when TSR was released. It was pretty good, and Buck was joined by Robert Duncan of Creem fame. He was managing editor for a couple years and then a contributor.
Robert had some nice things to say about Buck's guitar playing (don't we all?) and Buck complemented Robert on his new book Loudmouth. So I picked it up (or more accurately ordered it from Amazon).
It's a novel but clearly based on Robert's life. I enjoyed it, it's both fun and funny. Interesting stories from 60s and 70s New York City and music and musicians from that era. I can't imagine living the life Robert led.
I'll have to pull some of my old Creem magazines out and look for his byline.
BD, any comments on the book?

The last bit (you can only add 3 pix per post): BTW: I'd be more interested in reading an autobiography of his wife, who is of course, Roni Hoffman... I really wish she'd write about her time with the band, and living in the band house, and definitely publish some of her Underbelly/SFG photos etc, but, I dunno, it seems to an outsider as if she's trying to forget all about her time with Meltzer and doesn't want to relive any of it... hope I've got that wrong, of course...
