I put that one out yesterday? at buck-dharma-forums.freeforums.net/post/19402/thread but I think it got buried in other discussions. So good that you put it up here. Maybe some comments will show up. My knowledge is not up to par to comment on some (most) of it! beanguy said "Not going to spoil it. There were some surprises."

Why he put Deadline on this list is beyond me.

I agree about Debbie Denise... that was definitely "weird"...

Why he put Deadline on this list is beyond me. Deadline is a great song, period. (pity it's been performed only once by BDB and never by the boys. I would pay to have them in my living room performing "Deadline") You might calli it "weird" only if you assume that BÖC is just a mere hard rock/heavy metal band like others, which is not

Hmmm…was Deadline performed the following night in Buckhead too ?
Deadline could be twice….as 5:35 was.
Actually, Surprised BOC hadn't done Deadline. Id have guessed they had…but there are others here far more in tune with that stuff than I am.
I know it got some radio play on release back in the day on WBCN in Boston but live..donno !

Good read. Disagree with some some of it but it is an opinion after all. Enjoyed it !

Poppoff’s list definitely contains some of the best BOC songs ! I must be weird too.
Ok…I’ll pass on Beatem Up and Let Go.

I know it got some radio play on release back in the day on WBCN in Boston but live..donno ! yer probably right about BDB playing it twice. apparently the only song from Cultosaurus never performed live. also the Fire of Unknown Origin LP, in spite of its strength, suffered from Albert's dismissal and subsequent "etching in stone" of the average setlist to make Rick comfortable with the material. After Dark, Vengeance and Sole Survivor were consequently never to be performed (as I wrote elsewhere in in this forum), and what a pity, I might add

Interesting & entertaining read but a little confusion over what is weird for BOC to perform & what is actually weird or strange.

Morning Final and Tenderloin. Weird? Two of my favorites and my number one song transition. Turn up the subway. Squeal those brakes. Queue Alan.

All the Electric songs were played 2 consecutive nights. Only the Beatles tunes not played at The Dixie Tavern.

Weird isn't necessarily bad. We've recorded a few bad songs though.

Weird isn't necessarily bad. We've recorded a few bad songs though. I don't think that you'd expect us to leave that statement hanging without asking the obvious follow-up... which songs would they be...? All fans have probably got a certain few tracks they tend to skip over, so it'd be interesting to hear what yours might be... and has that changed over time, because mine have...
