Sounds like their "final tour" will continue into 2024. Don't know how many times BÖC and Foreigner played the same show. See poster at the bottom for at least one. From Fox News:
Foreigner is about to hit the road one final time.
During an appearance on "Fox & Friends" on Monday, Kelly Hansen, lead singer of Foreigner, announced that the band is planning its farewell tour, which is set to start in July 2023.
"Our plan is to kind of travel to all the places we've ever played before, before it's all over," Hansen explained. "We can't do it in one year. We can't do the whole world in one year, so we're going to do the U.S. next year and then the rest of the world in 2024."
The article discusses some of their reasons for their decision.

Have seen them quite a few times in the last few years, mostly before the plannedemic. Mick Jones is the only original member and is in ailing health and would only be on stage for a few songs here and there.
Kelly Hansen has been the Lou Gramm for many many years and he is the real deal. Incredible singer and brought the lifeblood back into the band after Lou Gramm.
Cold as Ice, Hot Blooded, Double Vision, Urgent, Jukebox Hero, Waiting for a Girl like you.. and many others... so iconic!

This thread reminds me of the Rich Stadium Foreigner/Loverboy. Loverboy, never seen a crowd like that… You probably already picked up on this: From one of the articles "For the first leg of the US tour, Foreigner will be joined by Loverboy, one of the 80’s biggest hit-makers."

I saw Loverboy as the opening act for ZZ Top in the early 80s at Boston Garden. They were just a hungry new band back then starting their find their way. They were on fire and the crowd loved it. Saw them a few years later after they "made it" and they were mediocre at best.

Legacy acts still out there today generally deliver the goods, I think, without the original lineup. True, Loverboy had big energy at the beginning. Never saw them later. Tunes are the tunes tho, ain't they? Foreigner especially. I would go see the modern version of Foreigner kill those hits live, if the situation was convenient.

The Stones played pretty close to us a year or two ago. Wife really wanted to go, but the nosebleed section was $500+. So you get to see the performance on the big screen TV. What a thrill...

In defense of video in big venues, it does give the nosebleeds a good view of the action. The Dharmas saw Eric Clapton at Madison Square Garden a few years ago (decent side elevated seats) and video screen coverage of the stage and players was excellent, and you could always look at the flea circus itself on stage if you wanted to tie it in.

For concerts it is more about the sound quality. For sporting events I never understood spending good money for a flea circus view when the televised view is always better.

Didn't Foreigner play a gig a couple years back with no original members present? I think it was in Spokane. Sort-of a weird idea that a gig could take place without anyone from the original group.
