Buck, any recollection of this happening?
We finally got around to playing our Rock of Ages 2016 Blu-ray last night. Really nice!
Couldn't find this mentioned anywhere. Credit to my wife for actually seeing this first. When you were playing your part of the guitar solo (after Ritchie) on LDOM looks like the Cheeseburger popped a string! The sixth (thinnest) one.
I don't have a Blu-ray drive in this computer so I couldn't get a good capture, but I finally managed to clean up a pic that was presentable. Looks like it came unattached from the top of the head, but I've never seen a Steinberger up close to see how the strings attach.

The pic above I believe is right after it happened. Wife first noticed it when you were out on the "runway" playing to crowd. The light caught it flopping around in the breeze. So I just HAD to look closer for myself. Yep. I then noticed that you played the next song, Godzilla, with a different Steinberger (I assume). The came DFTR and you were back to the Cheeseburger but with all six strings. So that got taken care of pretty fast. And people wonder why they sometimes see an extra guitar or two laying around at a show .........
The amazing thing is that we never saw you miss a beat. Looked and sounded just like business as usual. And all of this while you were playing the "wild" part of the solo. At some point the string looks like it moved over the other side of the head and I didn't see any movement. So I don't know if it got there by accident or if you somehow tucked it in somewhere. Never saw you doing that or the camera just didn't capture it.
Looks like you were working the Cheeseburger to death at that performance, so maybe it tried to get revenge. But it failed!
