For the cover there's always the alternate Morgan Fairchild version - Does anyone know: why Morgan Fairchild? If I ever knew - and what was so wrong with Dali's wife that they swapped her out? - then I've clearly forgotten... I heard that the Fairchild picture showed a hairstyle that was indicative of the times, and that "somebody" wanted that. No idea if that's true, who actually made the decision, or exactly why.

It's a solid album with some great songs. Never too keen on the art work (either version) though.

Damaged is just a great song. That’s a great tune for sure. I’d like to hear that one live Mark.. Maybe… one day we can get Buck and the guys to play it.🤞

Solid album. Some of the heaviest BOC has ever gotten. Haven’t listened to it in maybe a year so I think I ought to rectify that.

Lines like: "But I’m a howler monkey - Moreau’s half & half-man". Wonder how many people pick up on "Moreau"? Definite sci-fi reference. This would be an excellent candidate for a live performance. Great song to display strong vocals and really lively guitar work. Would definitely pump up an audience if done right.

The problem with "Damaged" is, it's too hard for me to play and sing in real time. And the organ solo was played by a fellow whose name escapes me at the moment, from Albany NY.
Might be a good tune to do with the Band Geeks on Youtube in the future.

Might be a good tune to do with the Band Geeks on Youtube in the future. I'm not a musician, but I think I see what you mean. I found a version with lyrics and played it in our theater room with the volume cranked up to see that it might sound like live. When you get to the "howler monkey" part, things come heavy and fast. Just singing the lyrics correctly that fast seems challenging in itself, let alone adding the guitar. It sounds like there is a lot of action going on with the rest of the group too. Sounds like the bass player is getting a good workout. Probably a lot of timing and coordination. In the studio if you hose up the lyrics you have the re-do option. If it were me I might want printed lyrics in front of me.:) Live, well no re-do's. Like I said, I'm no musician. As far as how it might go over live, IF you could have it come out sounding a lot like the album I think it might go over really well! I think it would be a really good audience exciter and would be something new and different that would grab their attention. Might be more trouble than it's worth to pull off, but I still think it would be a hit.
If anybody out there is interested, here's the only one I could find with lyrics. CRANK UP THE VOLUME FIRST!

Harvest Moon is a true classic. A "must play" at every concert. Never get tired of listening to it. To me Hammer Back had a really good start, but then just got repetitive after that. Carrying a handgun with the hammer back and the safety off is generally NOT the thing to do unless you are completely ready to use it - now. Accident ready to happen. I think they could have done something with that to continue the song on. Something like some guy (or girl) carrying it in their pants pocket or tucked down under their shirt stuck down in their pants under their belt. Done tastefully of course.

They're serious.
