Richie showed me some of the rehearsals for the tour. Jon Anderson is rehearsing over Zoom with Richie and his crew. The Geeks are playing the sh*t out of the Yes music.

I would definitely travel to see that show where ever it was happening. The icing on the cake would be to see them do Ride Like the Wind. It's one of my all time fave videos.

Anderson also recorded with Tommy Zvoncheck-he's now officially a BOC member like Murray The K was the 6th Beatle.

I wouldn't expect anything less....Richie and the gang are true professionals, playing music that they love. Wish they were playing a show closer to home.

I have tickets to see one of these shows; can’t wait. I watched Ritchie do some Yes tunes on his YouTube channel and the Band Geeks kill it. I saw a show on the Anderson Rabin Wakeman tour a few years ago and Jon Anderson can still bring it too.

Following up on this some more; if you haven't checked any of the YT footage of Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks, I HIGHLY recommend you do so.
I saw Yes several years ago, it may have been Alan White's last tour, it was good, but The Band Geeks are absolutely killing it; there's no comparison. Richie's bass tone and Squire emulation is unbelievable and Andy is spot-on on drums; the rest of the cast is stellar as well (the Jobson-like figure on keyboards is a talent and a half). Whatever Jon did do keep his voice in shape at his age, he should write a book...or two.
I know that prog doesn't have a good reputation amongst critics and (most of) the hard rock crowd, probably because this is not music for beginners, short attention spans, or those who struggle with deferring gratification, but this is music performed at a world-class level that deserves to be promoted. Disclaimer - I am a fan of prog, but I am more of an (early) ELP and (early) Triumvirat devotee; this has motivated me to examine the Yes catalog in greater detail.

Band geeks are killing the Yes stuff and Jon has still got some good capabilities on the vocal side. Fantastic music that has stood up well and being performed at a stellar level!

Jon has serious wind beneath his wings with the Band Geeks. It makes the listener appreciate how good he is, and his body of his work with Yes. Richie and his fellows are just killing the music, and Jon is surfing the wave. I bet he's having a great time. I'm going to see them on May 3.

I've checked out a YT video and it was really good. I bet they get even better as they go along. I saw Yes a few times during the 90125 and Big Generator tours. They were flawless and it is still the best stage show I've ever seen. Met Alan White in the parking lot which was almost empty at that hour very early before a show. (we initially thought it was security coming to bust us for partying). He hung out with us and gave us signed Big Generator cassettes and T's. I honestly didn't know who he was but to my buddy it was like meeting Bohnam. Very cool and gracious man.

Just got home from the Reading show. Jon & Band Geek were phenomenal. I won’t post the set list in case you haven’t seen them yet and want to be surprised but it was a great set list and great show.

Nobody knows better than us here what a great musician Richie is.
Knowing what I know ...That being said... It's just crazy to me. What a great bass player he is given it's not his main instrument.
His ability and his passion in trying to match this Yes music sound with his style and instrument is just awesome. Brilliant.
