I have a N.Y.TV Guide collection-every single issue from '53 to '71 and maybe 5 short of the complete 70's.

My mom had a subscription for a couple of years back around '62 or so.I saved those but got rid of them when the subscription ran out.My biggest thrill was when we received next weeks tv guide on a Monday instead of Tuesday when it normally arrived..Mitch Miller on the cover(yeah this 9 yr old had a crush on Leslie Uggams).HAHA.Also had a subscription for a few years to Sport magazine and around '64 I bought my own subscriptions to Worlds Finest and Action comics.

I have a very small collection of shot glasses from tourist destinations, mostly that Sandy and I have gone to together.
TV guides! That would be 52 issues/per year. How big is the pile of magazines?

With all the video content available today, a current TV guide would have to look like a phone book every week. And there's a generation of people who have never seen and won't see a phone book either.

I'm not a collector of shot glasses per se. But I do have a nice collection of USA bicentennial whisker decanters and a set of bicentennial shot glasses if that counts for anything. Besides my motorcycle stuff I also collect firearms. I'll never have this much stuff like J.M. Davis but I do love the fact that his collection is in my hometown. The place is overwhelming. www.thegunmuseum.com/

Ha-I basically stopped collecting anything after I think '81 as they got too big to staple the pages so they used glue and the glue doesn't hold up.
