Before Godzilla there was The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms who was killed by Lee Van Cleef in Coney Island.Funny how BOC was big on monsters with Mothra,Godzilla and Gammera.I'm still waiting for Ghidorah to show up.

Great movies Sirrastus.. always loved that seen in The Beast From 20000 Fathoms, where the old man had him walking around on his table,talking to him like he was a new puppy....A few days later he was Zilla sized and terrorizing the city. I know these movies would likely be labeled lame today but boy were they great to a kid in the sixties!

Agree - Mothra, Godzilla and Gammera were real treats when I was a kid. I think these things came on Friday or Saturday night around 10:30 PM, right after the news.
I'll pass on going to Japan, could use the same amount of coin to go to 3 or 4 BÖC concerts.
Not sure how the Zilla mouth is positioned, but the boys could maybe set up a stage in there and play a concert to a crowd below if the acoustics are right. Might have some good echo or amplification effects!
