You're gonna have to start going around incognito. I'm sure it's gratifying to always be in demand but I'm sure equally disheartening to never be able to escape... Something most of us will never be able to fully understand....but I've got to say...you do appear to be having fun with that little jig you're doing either way! 😂 And The "Buck walk" is a perfect name for that!

I went to a wedding last weekend in upstate NY, the daughter of a beloved close relative of Sandy's. A nice reunion of that extended family. I was just trying to enjoy the day, and forget about being Buck Dharma for a while. But I got coaxed into playing with the wedding band, and here's what happened. My post was the setup for the .gif. : ) It was a great time, and a great wedding.
I don't have any video of the entire song. The .gif was an iPhone "live" photo loop. The tune was a jam on "Mustang Sally."

I don't know anything about being famous and not being able to escape it. But I do know according to my wife I'm not allowed to go to motorcycle auctions any longer.

Ah, the price you pay.
I'll bet you ended up enjoying the day anyway. And you weren't playing as Buck Dharma - your were playing as Donald R. We all know you love what you do, so I'll bet it didn't take a lot of coaxing! And you provided a special treat for the bride and the groom, something they can tell their children about.
As far as not being able to "leave the life", well that beats the alternative!
So good job and thanks for posting that! Nice to see the real Donald performing. :)
Now we want to see some video of you helping "decorate" their getaway car. Is that even still a thing? It sure was when we got married. I had to take a sacrificial car to our reception.
