Ever since my Freshman year (2012), I've been making drawings to appear on my birthday cake every year. Since the concert season for me has been filled with so much entertainment, so many musicians I met, people I never thought I would meet and places I couldn't have imagined to visit, it's only logical to fit in all of that in my own illustrative take on the cover of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which was an idea from my dad. As I thought about doing that, I realized it would have still felt empty if it didn't include more than just musicians, so I added people I've come across at venues, some of my friends, and other characters I've drawn and/or seen on some cartoon or Japanese anime. Of course, it's not very neat in this preview (Poor Alan's face is covered up by Kasim. XD), but I have high hopes that it's gonna look awesome! Just gotta do the final (and neater) lineart and color! This is also part of a Graphics II project I'm doing where this is going to be printed on a 24x36 piece of paper. Feel free to ask me about anybody and/or anything on the picture, I'll gladly tell you about them! ^_^

Even though I don't know many in this drawing, I find myself wanting a Key Map!

Is that Osama bin Laden on stilts on the far left? XD That guy and the other one were guys I met at the Cinefest Backlot Party back in August when I saw Blue Oyster Cult and met Jules, Richie, and Buck. They're huge rock fans too, and were quite friendly.

Bloody hell - how big's this cake going to be?? Good to see Duckman getting a look-in... I miss him... Not very big. The reason why the image size is huge is so I could print it on a poster for Graphics II. I'm gonna shrink it down for the cake. I love Duckman! ^_^ First time I had started watching it was in November after watching some of his best rants.

I'm over halfway finished with the basic coloring of the picture! ^_^ While I'm still working, I want to share with you guys a picture of my cake from last year. The girls on the right are from a band called Bloody Mary, who played at my birthday party. Left to Right: Sheryl and Alice Cooper, Buck, me, Rickee Divine, Kat Cannons, Hollie Wood, Ana Apollo.

If I'd taken that much trouble to create a picture for a cake, you can be sure that no bugger would be allowed to eat it... it'd be on a plinth under a glass case guarded by pressure sensors and concealed snipers...

Alright, before I resume tomorrow, here's another cake from 2013. This illustration was based off of when I saw Black Sabbath live during their 13 tour and was in front row where Ozzy saw me. ^_^ When I was there I had on my Fairies Wear Boots t-shirt I made in Intro to Graphics along with some wings. XD Can't wait to see them again in January, especially Ozzy! It's been over two years since I last saw him.

I'm almost done with the picture! One more cake before I show the final product, here's the one that started it all. These are scanned charcoal drawings of Ozzy and Alucard. When I had scanned them, I did some editing on Photoshop by adding different-colored hues for the two. I gotta dig around my drawers and my back-up drive to find the originals when I get the chance.
