But I did it. I sold my Harper guitar and my Blackheart Handsome Devil amp. A few months back I sold my Carvin. I just got tired of looking at them collecting dust and taking up room in my closet. I thought WTH I'm not getting back into playing so why not just get rid of them? So I did.

You'll have to change your screen-name now...

Just don't get rid of all your rock and roll albums and become Tipper Gore.

You'll have to change your screen-name now... :-) Yep, for the second time.

Last year I sold my prize 60s black Les Paul. A sad thing to do, but it meant I could give my wife a nice 50th birthday party.

Cheryl, did you have an idea what a 60s Les Paul go for? It's a prized possession. To give it up for his wife is priceless.

wasn't an early 60s and needed a little work. Would have got alot more for it a few years ago But you tend to run out of money quickly when you put 3 kids through private schools ...

But you tend to run out of money quickly Don't I know it. Even thought I get a monthly check I still had to sell stuff so I can see a dentist. My insurance does not cover dental so I'm on my own there. Right now I have my Adrenalinn III pedal on CL for weeks and no bite. I had my keyboard on it too and an interesting buyer came and bought it. He's a music teacher for iPianoLab. When he tried out the keyboard his fingers were flying all over it. Wow, he's good. He asked me why I'm not playing it and I told him I quit playing guitar so I thought I'd try the keyboard but it was too linear. He said that it was easier than guitar and I told him I don't know about that.

I'm glad I didn't sell my Adrenalinn III pedal because I decided I want to play again. I'm not spending a bunch because I don't know how it'll work out but I miss it. Found a sweet axe though. It's a $300 guitar but I got it for $200 new and the specs are great. Check it out (was 3 in stock): reverb.com/item/2148175-parker-pdf30-electric-guitar-black

And it's here. Very well made and sound good. That is surprising and it just needed a setup. Now I'm looking at a 5 watt tube and a 15 watt hybrid amps. I'm leaning toward that hybrid amp. upload gambar

What model is this? A friend of mine, with whom I'm no more in touch since long time, had a Peavy with Floyd and it was KILLER. It had teeth like circular saw if you know what I mean . The sound was clear and, so to say, transparent like you would expect it from Glenn Tipton.

It's a Parker PDF30. It's the cheapest of the Parker line.

Thanx! Why the hell I was thinking this could be a Peavey? Because of the headstock, maybe.. My friend's guitar had similar headstock form...
