I hadn't seen this before - very enjoyable - plus watch for the Watchtower reference:

Good guitar player obviously, but this version does nothing for me personally; can't stand the implied snarky attitude of making it better because...fill in the blank.
DFTR is not a typical blues based rock song, the melody and bridge have roots in European medieval and middle Eastern music; to supposedly take the song back to its hidden quasi-mysterioso blues-black music origins is a mis-step. Again, stating the obvious, good guitar player.

Resurrecting an old thread. The only reason this caught my attention is that I saw a Reaper reference associated with an Eric Gales concert announcement in a local newspaper today.
The original video above is no longer available, so here's another one. There are a lot out there so I just picked one.
Not really to my taste, but I found it interesting that he's playing a right-handed guitar turned upside down. So aren't the strings upside down for a left-handed player?
