But more specifically the studio version, on the Tyranny & Mutation remaster.
Is it the good speed ? It seems a bit rushed... was it recorded this way or did the fine folks at CBS butcherized the recording ? thanks !

The record company to my knowledge, never messed with the speed of a recording. We would speed up a track slightly in mastering if it felt like it was dragging. You can tell if the pitch is not A440.
We played Buck's Boogie at times like we were being chased by the Devil. It's just what we did.

I thought that the pitch was indeed a bit higher that I expected. But thanks for the answer ! (and see you soon in NYC !)

Keeps us fans awake thinking wow that was a bit different and cool... DFTR was cool and a bit of a change up at Coleman this past weekend. I liked the thought of speeding up and being chased... Anything is great with this band.. And Buck Boogie.. Never dull..
