I am mostly a guitar player. It has been my main instrument since 9th grade. In 4th grade I took up clarinet, which I played thru 8th grade. I have come onto my own vocally. I always used to be in bands with a vocalist, and I would get a token song or two in the set list. It was that way for years, and it made me a bit self conscience about my singing. It wasn't until years later, attending open mic jams, and very few sang, so I built a repertoire of covers and originals. I do like to play bass from time to time, and enjoy sitting behind the drums for fun. We have a piano in my house, and my son took lessons....every once in a while I will work thru some ideas on it, but do not/ nver will have the patience for that instrument.
Guitar for most of my life....started out w/ clarinet in 4th grade; played in the school band thru 8th grade. Got my first guitar for Christmas while in 9th grade....first electric in 11th grade. I dabble in piano, seeing we have one in the house....also borrow my friends bass, which I enjoy playing. My main axe these days is a Gibson ES-335, and also own a Gibson SG, a Fender American Std Strat (bought it the first year of release; 1987 following seeing Pink Floyd in concert), my first electric (Guild S-60D), and a Guild D-25 electric acoustic (my other main guitar).
