Yes, I too thought that Buck's vocals were the yardstick by which all other attempts at covering this song must be judged, but at last I have heard, and it hurts to say it - if not his superior, then at least surely his equal:

Russel comes into his own doing Springteen's "Born In The USA."
I just saw 'War Dogs' last night. It's a pretty good movie. Anyway it opens with the protagonist trying to sell 400 thread count sheets to retirement and assisted living homes in Florida. As he's pitching the administrator, there's a 30-something guy with an acoustic guitar entertaining the old folks singing "Don't Fear The Reaper." It's pretty funny.

We saw War Dogs down in Williamsburg,Va at the Movie Tavern which we always make on appearance at every year.Thot it was funny but I kept thinking oh shoot this guys at an assisted living home singing to them (telling them) to Don't Fear The Reaper. We laughed but the irony was a bit rough.Hahaha.Yea I liked the film too-how many films is Jonah Hill going to play a complete a-hole. Saw The Accountant the other night-highly recommend.Damn good film.
