Awhile back, I was introduced to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard; a band that came out in 2010. A band that has also become my personal favorite rock band to have ever debuted in this decade. During the course of this decade, they released 15 albums which experiment with different genres. I've so far only listened to 12 Bar Bruise, Sketches of Brunswick East, and Willoughby's Beach.
My former coworker introduced me to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. He gave me a copy of Polygondwanaland (which I can spell but can't say) and I was HOOKED. Their pace of output reminds me of Robert Pollard from Guided By Voices. As for what I am listening to right now: One of my favorite songs of all time. I listen to this when I need to relax:

Had a YUGE falling out with Liberty DeVitto so he just went with another Italian from across the river in New Jersey haha. Speaking of which, my favorite story about Billy Joel and Liberty DeVitto

Sadly I've never seen Joel in concert. My biggest regrets were blowing off the Mott The Hoople/Queen show at the Uris Theater in Manhattan in '74 and Marvin Gaye 2nd row at Radio City also '74.

Having listened to the new tracks at least five times each plus the samples for the rest on iTunes, I need to force myself to step away and listen to something else while I work. Settled on Muswell Hillbillies, The Kinks' most underrated work.

Love Muswell Hillbillies. The Kinks are another band who can swing around the whole rock n roll pendulum every album seemed to portray a new musical attitude.I felt the same way about Fairport Conventions heyday,of course there were a few different configurations of the band.
