This has been a year of riches when it comes to releases from favorite bands, and listening to this, it has become my favorite live Maiden album since Death on the Road. And FINALLY a live performance of songs from the Blaze Bayley era, as will is the first live version of a song from A Matter of Life and Death! I saw them on that tour and they played the album start to finish, something they had never done before, so when lreleasw after release of live albums over the last 14 years haven't included any tracks from this album I was frankly bummed. It sold super well and the tour was a massive success, so it always made me wonder. But hey, I'll take what I get and this is damn good, so I'm a lucky and happy fan!

I've got Iron Maiden live in Mexico in the "to listen" pile. There is embarrassingly so much in front of it I doubt I will get to it until next month. I am currently listening to the deeply average Th1rt3en by Megadeth.

Finally got a copy of the Electra Recordings and I've been listening non-stop. I'd heard them all before through streaming but something about physically having a copy is just delightful. I especially love Gil Blanco County, and I really love the extended instrumental sections on A Fact About Sneakers and St. Cecilia. I love the rotary/vibe thing going on the organ on Sneakers.

IMO St Cecilia's middle solo is the best West Coast solo in history.

Right now, right this very minute I am listening to the album Disobey by Jock-proggers Comedy of Errors. If you like neo-prog, then you'll like this. I'm just not sure I like any neo-prog (apart from IQ) but I persevere.

Pretty cool organ & drum solos on this one. Love this album. Like BOC, Golden Earring are horrifically underrated.

I heard the Re-Imaginos version, which caused this one to get stuck in my head.
