I bought $16 worth of groceries this morning and at the checkout I found that I forgot my wallet. I said oh crap, I drove without my license and I carried without my permit oh crap. The clerk asked if I want him to put it aside and I can come back with my wallet. I said yeah let's do that and I'll be right back. The lady behind me said she'll take care of it and used her card before I could say anything but then I asked her how she want it settled and she said nah don't worry about it. I couldn't thank her enough and left. I always obey the the traffic laws but I made sure I didn't screw up on my way home. Whew.

Great story Parker Dude. You can pay it forward sometime, maybe that's what she was doing. Unexpected kindness is elating.

You bet I will. I've done it before but most times I gave a hand. A funny thing happened couple of days ago. I had amassed the letters in my out box that it's time to start shredding. I went through the papers separating those that don't need to be shredded and found something odd in my driver's license renewal envelope. I felt a card in it and I thought I got my license out already. I unfolded the paper and it was another person's license. I thought WTH! His birthday was 20 days before mine (which is today) and since we were told we have up to 60 days before getting it he's not missing his yet. Went got an envelope and stamp, wrote a little note and sent it yesterday.

I was having a really S**t day yesterday pretty much everything that could go wrong did. On the way home from work I stopped for a coffee, the guy serving (who I had never met before) asked me if I'd had a bad day, I guess I looked glum. I replied from on a scale of one to ten today was eleven in terms of badness. He replied well let me do something to make it a little better, he then gave me the coffee free of charge despite my protests. Yeah I know it was only a cup of coffee but he didn't have to do it & it really did give a bit of a lift. Small acts of kindness go a long way.

At least knowing someone there cared. Just being nice is a great thing. Kindness is a good thing. Good to know there are still kind hearted people in the world. A lady the other day didn't have enough money. She tried and tried her card.. I gave them my cc and said I'll buy it for you. She was estatic (18bucks) she said I'll go to the bank and be right back. I said pay it forward that will work for someone else. Have a great day.
