Just watched the podcast, great news about possible new material/album. Eric mentioned that we should look out for the return of Danny "The Law" Miranda. Does that mean Kasim has left the band or does he just have some side projects on the go? Must admit Danny is my favourite BOC bass player after Joe, but I think Kasim helped the band vocally. Can you enlighten us Buck?

He definitely has that energy. Will be great to see him.

I really enjoyed the podcast Eric was in fine form, great to hear about new material being written hope the deal gets done and it gets released, as for Danny I'm delighted as I have always loved the way he plays he sort of fits in with BOC better for me but I must admit that Kasim has grown on me and does add to the band vocally

Yep. Danny is with BOC for the remainder of the year. It's all good, I really like the BOC with Danny on bass. Yes we're planning on a new disk for next year.

I felt like Danny really was part of the band, unlike Rudy and Kasim who seemed like hired guns. And that's not a slam either, just that Danny goes with BOC like cock n balls.

There are many great, technically proficient bass players; there are not many great singers who can play bass. Kasim's vocals adds more to the band's overall sound then does Danny's busier/heavier bass style.

BOC can come play in my town with whatever bass player they want, adding whatever vocals they want on whatever songs they want, it will all be fine with me.

I didn't really hear Kasim, so unfortunately that was lost on me. I've heard others say the same thing. But I know what I saw when Danny was in the band, he energized Buck, and with Ritchie in there too, damn bruv.

You need to calm down with that attitude! Harls, it's been over ten years since BOC played here in Fort Myers. And over those years, I had to miss the two gigs over in Cape Coral due to circumstances beyond my control. All I'm asking for is a gig at a venue that allows pictures to be taken, and where I don't have to drive on I-75 to get there. That's it. Is that calm enough for you, Harls?

I saw Danny Miranda fill in for Kasim last year in August. I love both, but after the last show, I'm starting to lean more towards Danny, because of how much energy he brought in to his role. Regarding Kas, I heard his vocals clear enough on the Agents of Fortune special, quite nice, but just going to the concerts, though, I don't really hear him that much either. Kinda get the feeling too that Danny might rejoin the band someday if Kasim eventually feels too committed with his other endeavors to play with BOC anymore.
