Over the past 6 years as a Pink Floyd fan, I would have never expected Nick Mason to tour again, but after hearing about his new band and tour earlier this year, I was hoping that he would play in the U.S. in 2019.
I heard today that he announced North American tour dates for 2019 a couple days ago and that the presale was starting today. I got my front row balcony tickets as soon as possible for the Chicago Theatre date on April 4th! Surprisingly, there's still a lot of seats, but then again, it might sell out once ticket sales open publicly on Monday.
I'm really, really looking forward to this show. Aside from being able to see yet another former Pink Floyd member live, I really look forward to what the actual show will be like. I'm trying to avoid spoilers for myself, but I have heard that he's been playing mainly the older earlier Pink Floyd material, which is absolutely great! I don't mind hearing David Gilmour or Roger Waters play the later popular material, but it'll be great to hear the lesser-played PF songs for a change.
I wonder if anyone on this board is going to attend any of the dates. I also wonder if any European fans have also attended his European tour.

I have tickets for the April 3rd show in Minneapolis. As being a huge Pink Floyd fan and having seen the original line up and many different forms of it plus solo tours of Gilmour and Waters, I am looking forward to hearing a lot of my favorite "obscure" tunes.
