Buck,
Probably just my imagination, but is there any connection in the lyrics story line between TCTLDOM and Harvest Moon?
I just thought it would be cool if there was.. Just thinking out loud...

Nah, Harvest Moon was a story I made up in the style of a Stephen King novel, like how the town of Derry is haunted in his books. The locale was non-specific, except it was rural, had farms and 4 seasons. I wrote it when I lived in Ithaca, upstate NY. The evil in Harvest Moon is cyclical, only longtime resident families are aware of it.

It could be my hometwon, Dunkirk, NY, which was 10 minutes from Amish Country. They'd castrate your dog if it strayed too far. Kinda Evil Here, lol.

I always think of Twin Peaks, when I hear Harvest Moon...

Great song. Stephen King & Twin Peaks certainly come to mind in the song's vivid imagery. Talking of Stephen King Your Loving Heart from Flat Out always makes me think of a Stephen King short story. Could be a draft for the greatest Stephen King story that he never got around to writing.

Ive always felt that HM is of the same top class as BFY/Godzilla and surprised it never took off with the masses that same way. Very high quality in all aspects. I love it.
Of course DFTR is in a class of its own....

I often wonder what happened to Bobrow’s oldest daughter...? But what's with those crazy Spaniards: The Spaniards settled here They burned the town and fields They moved away from hereI'm not surprised they moved away, after that pointless display of wanton arson... just a thought: I'm no expert, but if you're planning to settle somewhere, wouldn't it be a good idea to not burn down "the town and fields"...?

Sometimes burning the town and fields seems like the best way to get rid of the monsters there, eh?

The Spaniards made me think of the SW US or South America. I believe they burned the town and fields when they left.
