Buck, what prompted you to buy the guitar? My first Carvin was a Bolt kit guitar that was selling for $399 then and the reviews were positive. I took a chance and got some upgrades in my order, SS frets-10" radius and Walnut body. Later I had a custom HSH pick guard made to put on it. It was an excellent made guitar and impressed with it so I got my DC127 made. This time I have the retro (80s) Carvin M22 pickups and Steinberger tuners added later. The DC127 has the SS frets and 10" radius just like the Bolt. Gotta love 'em.

I saw the Kiesel Vader at NAMM and had a conversation with Jeff Kiesel which lead to me getting the Vader I now have. I will likely endorse it professionally at some point, since I like it a lot.

Years ago when I worked at TSA, whenever someone ran a guitar through the x-ray I would go up to them and say that the x-ray showed that their low E string was a little flat. 99% of them believed me.

Ah the Buck Vader model Come to the dark side Buck!! Are you listening Jon? By the way, I forgot about the NAMM. Who me? Been a rough past year or so, scrambling for work, got into refinishing predominately to keep afloat etc etc ..... but I do have a BD model that I'm continuing to work on and I will be finishing up. Will be quite nice with some appropriate fingerboard inlay for the master of this board. Plus I have a couple Strat type models of my own configuration to jump into the Strat type arena, since I have never offered one. But all it takes is money. Which will come .... I have faith.

Been a rough past year or so, scrambling for work, got into refinishing predominately to keep afloat etc etc You should try out for "Shark Tank". Even if you don't get an investment from one of the sharks, just appearing on the show could help your business pick up.

Interesting. I'd like to see them. They will be a standard Strat body type with single coils. But a little different wiring and hardware etc. and of course my neck profile and not the the Fender headstock that a lot of those out there seem to replicate and shouldn't. They should be in keeping with that Strat sound but will give some options on tone.

Be sure to post pics. I still have my BD model. Sweet guitar. I haven't played it much since I got my DC127 so it's still like new.
